An Italian firm bought the company and in 1933 sold it to the Rosenthal conglomerate. Quantities of this inexpensive china were sold at PXs in Germany after WW II.

Nicely marked on the bottom with the Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp, the maker 'Johann Haviland' from 'Bavaria' and dated '1940'.
